My name is Anton Schieffer and I’m passionate about a lot of things! I currently work in cybersecurity and have written a handful of articles on the subject. One recent piece published in the Star Tribune is on Minnesota’s use of federal funding to secure elections.

I also do quite a bit of work on housing in Minneapolis. I am one of several co-founders of Neighbors for More Neighbors, an advocacy group working to create an abundance of homes in Minneapolis. I’ve also written about this extensively for streets.mn, including articles on how downzoning in the 1970’s helped create the affordable housing shortage we face today, and how many homes Minneapolis will need in the coming years to become more affordable.
